AI Readiness Audit

What an audit is for

Mid-sized companies rarely lack AI ideas. They lack a defensible answer to "in what order, and what will it cost?" — the question a board actually asks.

The audit exists to answer that question in one week, before you commit real money. It's deliberately cheap relative to the rollout it prevents you from getting wrong.

How the week runs

Day 1–2: structured interviews with the people who'd live with the outcome — leadership, team leads, whoever runs IT. Day 2–3: a read-only look at your tooling, data landscape and any existing AI use, sanctioned or not. Day 4–5: writing and pricing the roadmap.

Access is read-only throughout. We change nothing, install nothing, and your confidential data does not go into public AI tools.

What you receive

A report short enough to be read: where you stand across tooling, skills, governance and data; a recommended sequence with costs against each step; the risks that would sink it; and what to explicitly not do yet. It is written to be tabled at your next board or exco meeting as-is.

The guarantee is simple and judged by you, not us: read the report, and if you honestly find nothing in it you can act on, you don't pay the R15,000.

Questions about AI Readiness Audit

What is an AI readiness audit?
An AI readiness audit is a short, structured assessment of how prepared a company is to adopt AI — across tooling, skills, governance and data — ending in a costed, sequenced roadmap. BlueBloom's audit takes one week, costs R15,000 (or $2,000 internationally), and the report is written to be tabled at board level as-is.
What is an AI governance policy?
An AI governance policy is a written set of rules for how a company uses AI: which tools are approved, what data may and may not be shared with them, when a human must review AI output, and who owns AI decisions. The audit assesses whether you have one, whether staff actually follow it, and drafts the gaps into the roadmap.
What does "board-ready" mean?
Board-ready means the report can go to your next board or exco meeting without translation: current state, recommended sequence, costs and risks, in plain language and short enough to be read before the meeting.
How does the guarantee work?
If you read the audit report and honestly find nothing in it you can act on, you don't pay — you judge that, not us. The guarantee exists because a roadmap you can't execute is worthless.
