AI enablement for mid-sized companies

AI, adopted properly.

Audits, rollouts, governance and training for mid-sized companies — run by a practising AI adoption lead, not a slide-deck consultant.

For companies with 50–500 people in South Africa, the UK, the US and the Gulf. Fixed prices below. No sales calls.

Most mid-sized companies are stuck in the same three places.

The pilot that stalled

The demo impressed the board. Six months later the pilot is still a pilot. Nobody owns it, nobody measures it, and the licence renews next quarter.

Tools nobody uses

You bought seats for the whole team. A handful of people use them daily. The rest went back to how they always worked, because nobody showed them what good looks like in their job.

The governance gap

Staff are already pasting company data into free chatbots. There's no policy, no approved alternative, and no answer when a client asks how you handle their data.

None of these are tool problems. They are adoption problems — and adoption is a sequence: assess, train, roll out, govern. That's the ladder below.

Four rungs. Climb in order.

Fixed prices, no sales calls. Each rung is small enough to buy on its own merits — and each one has to earn the next.

  1. Team AI Training

    R10,500

    $1,500 intl

per company, up to 7 people

    1 day

Hands-on training on your tools and your actual work. People leave using AI the next morning, not talking about it.

Trust required: Low — one team, one day

    Book a trainingFull details
  2. Start here

    AI Readiness Audit

    R15,000

    $2,000 intl

    1 week

One week inside your org. You get a board-ready roadmap: what to adopt, what to skip, what it will cost.

If nothing in the report is actionable, you don't pay.

Trust required: Low — read-only, one week

    Book an auditFull details
  3. AI Rollout Sprint

    from R90,000

    from $8,000

    6 weeks

Six weeks executing the roadmap: tools live, teams trained, usage measured, policy in place.

    Usually follows an audit.

Trust required: Medium — we change how teams work

    Enquire about a sprintFull details
  4. Enablement Retainer

    By conversation

    Monthly, ongoing

Ongoing enablement once the foundations hold: new tools vetted, new hires trained, governance kept current.

Offered after a sprint, not before.

Trust required: High — earned, not sold

No booking link — we'll raise it when it makes sense.

Buying works by email: pick a rung, send the booking email, get an invoice and a start date by reply. EFT or card. No discovery call.

Run by an operator, not a deck.

I lead AI adoption, governance and tooling rollouts inside a real engineering organisation.

That means the advice you get here was tested on real teams first — the tool that looked great and died in a month, the policy nobody read until it was rewritten to one page, the training that only stuck once it used people's actual work. You get what survived.

BlueBloom is deliberately small. You deal with the person doing the work, from first email to final report.

How ready are you? Two minutes, no email needed to see your score.

Ten questions across the four things that decide whether AI adoption sticks: tooling, skills, governance and data. Your band shows immediately. The full report — what to do about each area — goes to your inbox if you want it.

Tooling

Question 1 of 10

Which AI tools does your company use today?

Questions MDs actually ask

Who is BlueBloom for?
BlueBloom works with companies of roughly 50–500 people in South Africa, the UK, the US and the Gulf, led by a CTO, MD or Head of Engineering who wants AI adopted properly rather than piloted indefinitely. If you're a 5-person startup or a 5,000-person enterprise, we're probably not the right fit — and we'll say so.
Do I need a sales call to buy?
No — every offer has a fixed price published on this site and is booked by email, with an invoice and a start date by reply. EFT or card. If you're unsure which rung fits, the free scorecard will tell you in two minutes.
How much does AI consulting cost at BlueBloom?
Fixed prices, published: Team AI Training is R10,500 per company ($1,500 international), the AI Readiness Audit is R15,000 ($2,000 international), and the six-week AI Rollout Sprint starts from R90,000 (from $8,000). The Enablement Retainer is priced by conversation, after a sprint.
What does the audit's guarantee actually mean?
It means you pay nothing for the AI Readiness Audit if you read the report and honestly find nothing in it you can act on — and you judge that, not us. The guarantee exists because a roadmap you can't execute is worthless.
Is delivery remote or on-site?
Delivery is remote by default, which is how we serve the UK, US and Gulf at the same fixed prices; on-site delivery in South Africa can be arranged by email with travel billed at cost.
Are you tied to any AI vendor?
No — BlueBloom is vendor-neutral: we don't resell licences or take referral fees, so the recommendation is whatever fits your company, including "don't buy anything yet" when that's the honest answer.
How do you handle our data?
We handle client data under POPIA and equivalent rules: we access only what the engagement needs, we don't feed your confidential data into public AI tools, and we delete working copies when the engagement ends. Data questions go to info@bluebloom.co.za.
